To get
these gift cards you are required to answer a few questions, or fill out a
form. Most of these cards are given out by the company as a way of thanking you
for answering a few marketing questions they have. Because you have to fill out
these forms online, it is often best to set up a different email address just
for this purpose. You don't want to get a bunch of offers in your personal
mail.
These forms
or questionnaires are not personal and they don't take long. Often its just a
matter of answering the question "How do you like the store?" or
"What do you think of our customer service?" Stores need these
questions answered so they can better market themselves to the public, and so
they offer gift cards in exchange for filling out this type of information.
